The Dress
This beautiful dress has been hand made in Shropshire, and originally cost £12k. The detail is stunning.
It's a strapless dress with a tail, which can be buttoned up when you're ready to dance.
The dress is 100% silk and overlayed with lace - both the silk and the lace have been hand dyed in coffee to give a warm, antique look.
The intricate beading around the bodice and lace up back are stunning.
Whilst the delicacy of the lace is beautiful, the ends around the bottom of the dress are worn in places. This is not noticeable when worn, and would be removed if the length is altered.
The dress has been professionally dry cleaned.
The measurements have been taken as follows:
Length = 134cm from the side hem ... armpit to hem.
Bust = 51cm across the front
Waist = 43cm taken from 7 inches down from the armpit, side to side, across the front.
Hem circumfrance = 325cm
