The Dress

I was in LOVE with this dress! I hope it brings someone else as much joy as it brought me on my wedding day.

The dress is form fitting and fit me like a glove on my wedding day. It does have stretch to it so it was comfortable when sitting down and dancing. I was able to bustle it for our reception so the train was pinned up.

I would not buy the dress if you think you are bigger than my size as I would think letting the dress out would be difficult. I would think it would be pretty easy to take in if you are smaller.

No spills, tears or major flaws in the dress. I got it professionally dry cleaned and preserved after our wedding, so it should be in almost new condition. The dry cleaning was $1,000 adding value to the dress as it’s in almost new condition.

Alterations

The model photo in the dress has the bottom skirt sheer lace but I added the blush underlining from the top of the dress all the way through the bottom of the dress to floor length. The train is all lace and the underlining does not extend through the train. The only other alterations I made was to tighten the underlining in the fitted skirt section so the underlining didn’t bunch up visibly underneath the lace, and slight tightening of the straps.

All alterations cost $2,000 adding value to the dress.
