Alterations

I made several alterations to enhance the appeal and functionality of the gown.

1. Detachable Overskirt
I requested the overskirt to be detachable, preserving the gown's stunning appearance while offering a versatile second look. This feature will allow you to transition seamlessly from the ceremony to the reception, adding practicality for the evening's festivities without compromising on style.

2. No Split
I removed the side split, opting for a more timeless and sophisticated look. This alteration upholds the gown’s classic elegance, making it a perfect choice for brides who appreciate traditional beauty with a modern twist.

3. Custom Sizing
To achieve a perfect fit, I requested split sizing, accommodating my size 8 bust and size 10-12 hips. This customization provides a tailored feel and ensures the gown fits beautifully. It also offers flexibility for the next bride, leaving room for further alterations if needed, making the dress adaptable to various body types.

This sizing was based on my measurements:
Bust: 30 inches (76.2cm)
Underbust: 28.5 inches (72.4cm)
Waist: 26.5 inches (67.3cm)
Hips: 43 inches (109.2cm)

4. Perfect Length
I had the hem shortened to suit my height of 170cm, on top of my mid-size heels. This adjustment ensured the gown sat gracefully, enhancing its overall look and comfort.
