The Dress
Custom made vintage gown inspired by Shawn Lakin and Barbara Palvin's wedding gowns. I had a seamstress remove the sleeves, turn the back into a low open back silhouette, and create a square neckline! The straps are now roughly 1/2" wide. If interested, I can include the matching bow that was made out of the extra fabric!
This dress was originally made in the 1980's by the International Ladies Garment Workers Union in the United States! You wont find a fabric like this anywhere. It is stunning and so COMFORTABLE!! It has a beautiful cathedral train that is fully edged with lace embroidery and it is already bustled. This dress is beautiful with or without a petticoat! Will need to be steamed / pressed.
I am exactly 5' 4" tall and the length is perfect. A 1.5" or less heel would be your only option, unless you are shorter than me.
Please let me know if you need any further information!
Alterations
Sleeves were removed, neckline was lowered, straps were altered to make a square neckline, back was made into a low open back silhouette, and the buttons were reenforced! We also made a detachable bow with the extra fabric that will be included!
