The Dress

New with tags. Unaltered. SLEEVES included! I purchased this Maggie Sottero Nikki dress (Ivory over Nude) from The Wedding Shoppe in St. Paul, MN in January 2023. The bridal shop photos are me wearing their sample dress prior to purchase. I waited several months for the dress to arrive and even longer for the detachable sleeves. Nikki is so versatile she could easily be worn for a spring, summer, fall, or winter wedding! I had planned to be a winter bride with a slight Game of Thrones vibe. Fun fact: these sleeves look awesome popping out of an ivory wool cape! I had to purchase the sleeves separately, but they are included in the asking price.

I'm a muscular build with barely Bs and almost no curves. I fell in love with Nikki because she instantly gave me curves in all the right places! She's only been tried on twice: 1) as required when picking up from the bridal shop, and 2) at home when my sleeves finally arrived as I wanted to see the full look with my pearl booties and accessories (shown at home in cover photo).

The dress is US Size 10. The bridal consultant shared (for detachable sleeves) she always recommends going up a size to ensure enough room for arm movement and also room for the seamstress to make alterations, therefore, the sleeves are US Size 12.

I am 5'5" and planned to wear 3" heels. I weigh 150 lbs and have 36B/34C chest. In terms of street size, I typically measure my waist at 30" for jeans. The bridal consultant measured my waist at 29" and in my opinion (I've tried on a lot of Pronovias crepe) this fabric is the perfect crepe because it's not too thick and not too thin while having structure and slight stretch.

Nikki has been stored inside her garment bag and plastic bag in a smoke free home. No alterations have been made.

I'm selling this beauty because my fiancé and I decided to elope. I swapped this look for a flowy A-line dress that I could hike in. I'm looking forward to someone else falling in love with her!
