The Dress

This Huntleigh dress is part of the Jane Hill Heritage collection.
Snatched and structured in all the right places, the Huntleigh gown is Jane Hill’s latest iconic silhouette for the modern bride. Featuring a strapless boned bodice with elegant gathered detailing, a side split and dramatic overskirt.

The style of the bust/bodice is to fit like a glove, it will require 1-2 ppl to assist you to zip it up (this is normal). This is required to hold the weight of the dress. Once the dress has been fitted it feels like the most comfortable and feather like dress. I brought a second dress to be safe but I happily wore this dress all night.

Dress material: Crepe
Underneath overskirt: Crinoline (to create volume in the train)

This dress has been professionally dry cleaned. PLEASE NOTE: the crinoline material underneath the train has been crushed during dry cleaning. Photos can be provided upon request. This does not impact to look of the top of the train, overskirt or dress I can assure you, but I just have to advise the buyer.

Alterations

Purchased in a spilt sizing (AU 6-8). Measurements are all approx (cm) as unfortunately I do not fit my dress anymore.

Alterations for height/length and the back of the bust to hold the weight of the dress.
Front hemmed for 5'5" height with 9.5cm high shoes
Raised the leg spilt up on thigh an inch
Bust cups have been sewed into the bust to create some clevage - easily removable

Some brides have the overskirt altered to make it removable. This is always an option.
