The Dress

Beautiful bridal gown worn 5/18/24 wedding. I typically wear a medium top and size 6 or 8 pants. Ordered in a 14. However, taken in 2” from top to bottom to fit more like a 10/12 in bridal. It is able to be taken in more and the seam can be pulled out to go back to a bridal 14. I received many compliments on the dress. Has detachable off the shoulder sleeves worn for the ceremony. Corseted bodice to keep this dress fitting like a glove! 5 point American bustle added. Dress was $2400 at the bridal shop plus $325 in alterations.

Part of a private collection made for the boutique in my region. I am only guessing it is made by Casablanca. Have not had cleaned yet. There are buttons down the back. Three of the buttons have some color on them, maybe from the chair I sat in and can either be cleaned or easily replaced.

Alterations

Dress taken in 2” from top through hips which can be removed. No fabric removed. Waist was taken in a little more than 2”. Straps shortened and can also be let out. Nothing done with length. I am 5’7 and wore 3” heels.
