The Dress

Brand is Martina Liana, Style 1267. Color is ivory on ivory. The dress is glittery, but it’s sewn into the fabric. Like, it won’t come off at a cleaner or on your skin…it’s IN the fabric. It’s super pretty in the light. You can sort of see it in the stock photos. It also has a lot of embroidered detail, again, seen clearly in stock photos (the stock photos are ivory over stone and honey so it stands out more). The video is me wearing the sample dress, It is NOT the dress i am selling.

This dress has a custom-ordered 4-inch plunge that was added by the designer. It also has 9 bustles added by a separate tailor, so the entire trail is picked up off the floor. I have a video from the tailor showing where the bustles are and how to attach them that I will provide to you (somehow lol).

No flaws, rips, tears, or staining. Dress has been dry cleaned and professionally preserved in a box with the matching veil. The veil will be included in the sale as I will not open the box to take it out.

I ordered this dress as size 12 but I normally wear a size 10 (i was 3 months post-partum when i got measured). It has a few alterations, mostly in the boob area (I have like zero boobs), see alteration section. I did not have the waist taken in, so I was pulling the dress up a few times during the course of the wedding. If you’re a size 10, this will fit you a little big. Not horribly so, but you’ll probably be pulling like I was. I did not have length taken off the dress.

Alterations

As mentioned, a 4-inch plunge was added to the neckline, but it was done by Martina Liana.

Boob push-up cups were sewn into the bodice. I also had the bodice taken in at the boob-underarm area because again, I have like small B cup boobs…there was too much gapping if I didn’t. It didn’t change the circumference of the dress, just how much the boob part went outwards, if that makes any sense.

The corset area had really short boning that ended above the hips, which resulted in a weird pointed hips look, which was ugly. I had the boning extended down past the hips for a softer, more hourglass figure and the pokey-outie points were trimmed off. It didn’t really take the sides in during this process, but I’m sure it did just a little bit.

9 Bustles were added to the train of the dress.
