The Dress

This elegant and unique Berta gown took over eight months to create, each glass bead, and crystal was hand stitched. Comprised of three separate layers of lace with a modest train and romantic sweetheart neckline. The gown shines best in the evening, letting the delicate details catch the light and giving an ethereal glow. I wore this as my "second look" dress and I felt so beautiful in it. I only wore the dress for the second half of my reception, a total of 3 hours. It's in excellent condition and sparkles so beautifully in person. The only slight signs of wear are on the inside layer of tulle on the train of the dress that dragged on the floor. It is not not visible from the outside of the dress.

Alterations

Added an invisible zipper to make the dress look a little more elevated. I added some boning to reenforce the corset and hold me up a bit more in the bust. I hemmed 7.5 inches off the bottom as it was extremely long for my height (5'3/5'6 in shoes) and I needed less of a train since it was a second look. I also added some really nice beaded spaghetti straps. I do have the extra material that I had trimmed from the bottom and can include it in the shipment if needed. For reference I weigh 125 lbs and a 34D and would say this dress fits like a true size 4/Small.
