The Dress

This dress made me feel so incredibly beautiful on my wedding day and really brought the WOW factor. I loved that it was glamorous and dramatic yet subtle, detailed yet simple, edgy yet classy, comfortable and easy to manage yet fit like a glove. I tore up the dance floor all night long and was never worried about my dress or how I moved in it, and visits to the restroom were also a breeze. It's Calla Blanche, original size 10 and altered to roughly a street size 2. The bodice and skirt are lace/applique, with a white underskirt. The bodice is relatively sheer, and has bust cups sewn in already. The straps and waistline have delicate silver beading and sequins to add a little extra sparkle. The train was easy to bustle. The dress does need some light cleaning around the hem, and the bustles need to be resewn, but otherwise it is in really good condition. Originally retailed for about $2700. Alterations

Taken in (dress size 10 to about street size 2)
Hemmed (I believe this was done by adjusting the straps and taking it up at the waistline as opposed to hemming from the bottom of the skirt. ) I think they also lifted the front of the dress slightly more than the back so that I wouldn't trip, but it is a very subtle difference.
Bust cups sewn in
Bustle added (but needs repairing)
For context, I am 5'4" and wore 3 inch heels on my wedding day. With the adjusted height of 5'7" it skimmed the top of my feet.
