The Dress

A wedding dress dream come true!

Delores by Calla Blanche is a gorgeous lace fit and flare wedding dress. The lace and beading on this dress is stunning and pictures really don’t do justice, there is a subtle sparkle to the dress and it looks even more beautiful in person.
The nude underlay is topped by ivory lace and beads. The skirt accentuates the waist and hips and then flares into a beautiful train edged with floral lace.
There are clear sequins placed all over the dress for the perfect amount of sparkle. I didn’t want 'in-your-face' sparkle and this was subtle and looked beautiful and tasteful in person and in pictures.
The dress has a deep V back, but looks backless because the V is so wide and deep (see third and sixth picture for back).
The plunging V neckline and the waist are trimmed with beading and crystals that adds shimmer and sparkle around the torso. The neckline has what they call ‘skin illusion’ (probably to add some structure and keep the deep V in place). I was worried the original skin illusion would be too light on my brown skin, but the fabric is created in such a way that it matches a wide range of skin tones and blends perfectly even on darker skin.

Alterations:
A bustle was added and I was able to wear it at the reception after the ceremony, and the dress felt comfortable and light as we danced the night away (fifth picture shows me using the bustle)

Dry cleaned:
Dress has been dry cleaned professionally.

Damage:
There is the smallest tear in the train where I tripped because I got careless while hurrying at some point during the reception. I will get it professionally stitched or you even could stitch it yourself. But you can't see the tear unless you know its there and look for it meticulously.

Alterations
