The Dress

Custom made dress, cleaned and packed away in an acid free box and paper ready to make another bride very happy and feel amazing.

I wanted something understated and elegant and struggled to find the right dress with bridal brands. Some of the slinky dresses I liked were made from really thin fabric which wouldn't have been comfortable for me, so I had this dress made with a bespoke couture dress maker. I felt absolutely incredible on my wedding day, elegant and super comfortable all day. I'm tall - 5'8 + block heels so there is plenty of dress for alterations if you're shorter.

The dress cleaned beautifully and there are just a few very tiny marks pictured, barely visible to the naked eye, a few tiny scuffs to the train. It's virtually perfect but I wanted to list this honestly as I don't want anyone to be disappointed.

I chose this fabric carefully with my dressmaker so it was crease resistant but still had a gorgeous flow and at the same time structured and flattering (I'm a 12-14 on the bottom). It has a satin sheen which I loved - not too shiny but still luxurious. I travelled abroad and the dress and fabric was perfect - no steaming necessary just hung for a day or two and any creases dropped out.

I have some small spare fabric samples I can include for the floral embellishment on the shoulder. I may have lost one or two flowers but you can see from the pictures it's not noticeable and I'm being really fussy. I'll also throw in two scarves I had made to match the dress if that's a look you're going for.
