The Dress

This dress felt like the epitome of elegance, simplicity and style. A beautiful off the shoulder neck line, buttons down the back and both a ball gown skirt which can be taken off to reveal an hourglass silhouette all adding to the glamour.

Purchased the dress from Peter Trends in Roseville in March 2023 and wore it in March 2024. Absolutely loved that the dress had a gorgeous overskirt to wear for the ceremony which I then took off for the reception to reveal a nicely fitted fit and flare style dress which was great to dance in. This dress gives you two distinctly different looks! The dress is labelled a size 16 but I am very much a size 12 and it fit well in store, however I did have some further alterations done by Sarah Tai. The alterations included the creation of a bustle so that you can put the train up on the smaller to dance easily. The dress has only been stored in the garment bag from Peter Trends.

I have included photos from both the day and when I tried the dress on so that you can see the detail as well as the overall look. I absolutely love this dress and hope you do too! I would love to keep it but my place is just too small to do so!

Alterations

Originally marked size 16, however much more suited to a size 12 - altered to fit a size 12 and to enable one to sit comfortably!
