The Dress

I fell in love with the timeless elegance of this dress and the way it made me feel. It graciously hugged my figure and the boning provided both structure and support without feeling restrictive (it even encouraged my posture to be straighter which made the photos more lovely). The slightly textured applique of lace gives the dress a beautiful vintage feel.

I had a hard time finding a wedding dress that would allow me to climb a mountain, get in and out of a row boat, and allow me to eat a 5 course meal. This dress has some stretch to it allowing for a lot of movement and comfort. I was comfortable in the dress all day and was able to dance freely.

The dress was taken in just slightly in the bust and waist, length remained the same. The dress is sleeveless, I had the removable drape sleeves made to give the dress a more whimsical feel. Unfortunately, they were lost during the travel from our destination wedding, however if you like the drape sleeves they were a really cheap alteration ($50) in English netting tulle (same as the tulle that the applique lace is on).

Dress has been professionally dry cleaned by a certified wedding dry cleaners (this was $300). The wedding dress has no staining or tears. Let me know if you would like the after dry cleaner photos or have any questions! Happy wedding dress shopping!
