The Dress

I fell in love with this dress because I looked in the mirror and thought 'I feel sexy and strong'. I never thought I'd end up with a mermaid style dress, but it felt amazing to wear.

It is designed with a delicate chantilly lace, with unique short sleeves, a deep v-neckline, and a front slit, making it really lightweight to wear and very easy to move in. The bottom has a really fun and beautiful 3D effect of individually sown chantilly flowers. It zips up at the back (with a really pretty button effect) and it has a double hook at the top of the neck.

It was ordered in a size 42 to fit my hips, and then tailored down for my upper body (I have a classic hour glass shape figure). My normal clothes size is 38/40, and I wear a 90C/D bra. No alteration was made to the length.

It has been worn once, and professionally dry cleaned by Pronovias. The under layer has some brown staining at the bottom, around the edges, but it isn't noticeable when worn. It is otherwise in perfect condition.
