The Dress

I’ve never been a fancy lady or felt at home in a formal gown. It also doesn’t help that I am microscopically particular when it comes to any clothing, let alone a wedding dress. From the moment I saw the piece of art that is this dress it altered my brain chemistry, and there was no way I could have any other. I had a vision crafted of how I wanted to alter it and the talented seamstress I worked with over delivered in every way and made my vision come to life. As I said, I usually don’t feel like an elegant person but in this dress I felt like the most beautiful, sultry, classy, sexy, poised, divinely feminine, and powerful version of myself. I’m shy about saying this, but the compliments I received about my dress were to the moon. Elegantly crafted from a material called Micado or Duchesse Satin that has an ethereal iridescent almost shimmer. It’s guaranteed to make you feel like a queen or even a goddess carved of marble by Michelangelo himself. If you're a stylish woman with impeccable taste and are looking for something a bit out of the ordinary mold of a wedding dress. I would love for her to be worn down the aisle once again. She deserves it.

Alterations

Extensive alterations, took out big part of the train, moved the bodice up and closed the v gap at the front, added zippers to the sleeves and removed the buttons from the back. Also I lost a considerable amount of weight during the alteration process, about 30-40 pounds so there is good amount of extra fabric that would be included.
