The Dress

This is a beautiful dress from Stephanie Allin, with a sheer shrug that can be put on over the top or taken off. The shrug has very pretty floral decorations and was extremely comfortable. Bit heartbroken to be parting with the shrug in particular as it is so lovely, but I have nowhere to wear either item and they work so beautifully together.

I felt amazing in the dress, it’s a lightweight fabric, very easy to move around in. The structure in the bodice was great at preventing the dress from shifting and I was very comfortable during the wedding breakfast.

The dress has been dry cleaned and is pretty much flawless. There is a faint mark on the inside of one of the flowers on the shrug so it isn’t visible, otherwise I can’t see anything. I didn’t wear it dancing in the evening as I had an outfit change. One of the straps did break but it would be an easy fix just to sew back on.

Alterations

The dress was lowered slightly at the back so that 2-3 buttons were removed. This was to create more of a V shape at the back.
Dress was also altered to fit my bust as I had only recently stopped breast feeding!
