The Dress

Beautiful Rebecca Ingram - Elsie wedding dress in ivory over soft pearl.

The dress is multiple layers with a really comfortable stretchy lining layer with gorgeous sparkling sequin lace over the top. The pattern is modern, I’m a plant lover so to me it looks like pampas grasses, however others have said brushstrokes and feathers - it’s quite different.

The sides and front have illusion mesh fabric which allow for deep plunging features, making it a fun sexy dress more than a romantic whimsical style.

Beading around straps, back scoop and neckline (slight damage which can easily be repaired by a seamstress). Train is cathedral length.

It’s much lighter than a lot of ivory dresses I wore, closer to white because of the sequins. I lost a lot of weight on the run up so please see the alterations below. Please note this is a petite fit (so shorter in length). Any questions absolutely feel free to ask!

Alterations

Taken in at hips and waist by approx 1 dress size (to a UK street 8).

Cups added to bust (x2) but these can easily be removed again as only tacked into place.

Bottom button reinforced to enable dress to bustle, loop also added mid up train.

Please note, the size is petite as I only 5ft3 (and wore very low heels). The straps weren’t altered but were shorter to begin with.
