The Dress

Very sad to be selling my beautiful Suzanne Neville ‘Penny’ wedding dress but I’d love to see someone else love wearing it as much as I did.

Bought from Frances Day Bridal in Nottinghamshire. The dress is a Suzanne Neville size 10 but the measurements are closer to that of a UK size 8. There is corsetry inside the bodice as shown in the photos and I have only had the length altered. I am 5 foot 3 and wore 3 inch/7.5cm heels. The dress is made from silk mikado.

There are pockets in the skirt and a leg split which I have had pinned near the mid/upper thigh but this could easily be removed. There are removable cups in place as I’m not very busty but these could also easily be taken out. The waist belt comes with the dress.

I have had the dress professionally dry cleaned one month after the wedding (September 2023) through a company recommended by the bridal shop I purchased the dress from. There is one small mark on the dress as shown in the last photo, but as seen in the second to last photo, unless up close this is barely visible. It is roughly the height where the bouquet is held for context. The rest of the dress has come out perfectly.

This is an absolutely stunning dress and I felt a million dollars wearing it.

Alterations

Length taken up - I am 5 foot 3 and wore 7.5cm/3inch heels.
