The Dress

Ivory satin and lace wedding gown, worn but in very good condition. Gown is fitted through the body to mid-thigh and features a lace-up corset back, a generous train and boning through the bodice.

Gown is made up of three layers; a thinner lining layer with tulle at the bottom, a heavy satin middle layer and a lace overlay. The lace is embellished with beads and sequins all over, with the addition of crystals across the bust. There is a fixed satin sash below the bust with beading and crystals embroidered on it.

The gown is in excellent worn condition. There is some very minor staining on inside of lining on train, which is not visible when the dress is on. Dress was professionally dry-cleaned and stored in acid-free tissue paper and box since a few days after the wedding.

A bustle was added by a professional wedding gown seamstress, consisting of a loop and clear button which are unnoticeable when the train is down. The train is simple to hook up with the assistance of another person.

Alterations

The gown is a label size 14, with the size guide of Bust 102cm / Waist 82cm / Hips 112cm. The dress has been let out at the seams by a professional wedding gown seamstress, making it somewhere between a label size 14 and label size 16.

The gown itself now measures approximately 90cm at the underbust, and approximately 120cm at the hips. It would not be possible to let it out any further as this has already been done to the maximum. There would be no problems taking it in though.

The gown has also been shortened, making it full floor length when I (160cm) was wearing heels of approximately 7cm.
