Ball Gown Wedding Dress with a criss-cross, off the shoulder portrait neckline by Sottero and Midgley (DISCONTINUED style “Thomas”)

When I put this dress on, Grace Kelly immediately came to mind. It was not the style I was looking for, but seeing it on I was overwhelmed by how beautiful, elegant, classic & timeless it looked. The design is so flattering and is fitting for any wedding theme. It will make you feel elegant & special too!

Worn for my wedding this last April (2023), indoor only at the St. Francis in San Francisco.

Color: Ivory Over Champagne
Floral novelty organza embellished with caviar glitter beading over glitter tulle. An incredible amount of sparkle & shine without sewn in beads and/or crystals, which can fall off and be lost…
Sewn in padded push-up breast cups
Inner elastic hook & eye “bra band”

Covered buttons over zipper closure added (at additional cost) so they go all the way down from the collar to the end of the train

Gown was intensely examined by myself and my dry cleaner for any soiled areas. Only a few places on the edge of the skirt required minor spot cleaning by my dry cleaner. The gown is currently stored in a dress bag in my spare bedroom closet.

Alterations

Bust darts • insert (add fabric) side panels on bodice • shorten hemline of skirt in front • remove 1 layer of petticoat netting • French bustle • add matching buttons all the way down back of skirt/train
