The Dress

Exquisite wedding gown which has been proudly worn, with more wows, tears and compliments from admiring guests than I could ever imagine! I truly felt so classy and princess like in this adorable dress. Its with a heavy heart that I list this for sale and have toyed with the idea of doing so - the balance between needing the money and keeping for sentimental reasons is very slim. So I shall not be accepting silly offers and I have set a starting price which is the absolute lowest I will accept.

The colour is blush, but it is so suttle. I was nervous how my husband to be would feel with me not wearing white, but the suttle soft nature of the colour on this quality fabric just oozes class and looks so rich and elegant. The hand sewn beads on the bodice, sparkle in different parts in different lights. They’re a mix of pearls, crystal & sequins and the bodice is so supportive it held me in place all day and night. Whilst still being super comfortable. My new husband was overwhelmed - he loved it!

I had spaghetti straps made for the dress as I was worried with it being strapless that I'd be messing with it all day long, keep pulling it up - but this didn't happen. I tucked the straps in for the evening and enjoyed wearing as it should be as a strapless dress. The straps were made from the material off the dress, as I had the train shortened and when I had the dress taken in to fit me, some of the spare beading was saved and hand sewn on to the straps - for the perfect match.

I've added plenty of photos to show you as much of the dress as I can. There are 2 pictures from the Designers website which show the designers model wearing the dress. There are 2 pictures of me wearing the dress on my wedding day too. I'm 5ft4 tall, if this helps with getting a flavour for the length of the dress when you look at the photos.

I've added some photos to try and show you all the layers and the quality of the materials used too. The way the layers have been added in to the dress give it a beautiful light swing and help it to hang softly and swishy (if that's a word). The way it swishes around when you walk, turn and dance, is just immense.

I can't write enough about how truly stunning this dress is and I just hope it can make somebody else feel as special as I did.

The back fastens with a zip and hook and eye at the top of the zip. Inside just before zipping up, there is a thick strong elastic band, which fastens like a supportive bra strap. This helps to hold everything together and give you ample support and comfort at the same time.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and the photos taken where the dress is on the hanger are the photos of the dress now after being dry cleaned (after the wedding day). So you can see it is in immaculate condition, like new.

Alterations

I have had spaghetti straps made from the spare material and beads as per above notes, from the length being shortened and the train size at the back being reduced to a very small suttle trail to the floor at the back.
