The Dress

This Matthew Christopher "Sofia" in Ivory wasn’t what I expected to love but became my unexpected dream dress and made me feel absolutely stunning on my wedding day and every time I see my photos. Purchased from Nordstrom Bridal Boutique in 2015, worn once and then professionally cleaned/boxed within days of my wedding. (I opened it to confirm its condition for this listing only). This unique dress has ivory Swiss Dot lace overlay onto silky ivory fabric. Strips of raw edged lace is laid in a way that gives you an unbelievable silhouette. The built-in structured bodice allowed me to wear no bra (for my D cups!) and was surprisingly comfortable. I purchased the upgrade for the beading embellishment for a little extra something. I also ordered the french bustle - hooks added to bustle up & under. Plus I ordered extra Swiss Dot lace to create custom cap sleeves (that can be easily removed and have no bearing on holding up the dress). Throwing in my veil & remaining Swiss Dot lace as an extra gift. The only flaw is a rip in an inner lining that will never be seen. Kaley Cuoco wore this dress in "The Wedding Ringer".

Alterations

Label size 14, altered down to fit my size 12 curvy hips plus custom cap sleeves as noted above. Bustle hooks added.
