The Dress

Selling my gorgeous Raven wedding dress by Maggie Sottero.

I purchased this dress brand new from Astra Bridal in January 2022. It is a size 8 and has had a bustle added. The dress has pockets for storing tissues on the day.

A couple of the beads have come off but the dress came with spare ones which look like they can be easily reattached.

The dress was very comfortable to wear and easy to dance in. The dress still looked great with the bustle for the first dance. I felt amazing in it and got lots of compliments on the day. I loved the dress for its simplicity, elegance and I feel the style is timeless and will not date in years to come. I also thought it was the perfect choice for stunning scenery shots as it stood out and was striking against a mountain backdrop (we got married in Queenstown and had photos taken on Mount Cardrona).

It has been professionally dry cleaned. It is being stored in a smoke free and pet free home in the original wedding dress bag it was purchased in.

Purchased for $3,495. Would like $2,000 or near offer.

Alterations

Bustle added. From memory, taken in around chest to fit my bust and different cups put in to fit my breast size + tightening of straps. Length of dress taken up slightly.
