About the Dress

The Lydia dress features a fitted skirt with centre front split, V-neckline princess panel bodice and striking cutout back detail.

This dress was the perfect mix of relaxed and chic that I was wanting to feel on our wedding day. The back cut out detail added a special touch to all the walking off in the distance photos, and the front centre slit helped me move and dance freely all night long.

Alterations

I ordered a custom size 10 with 12 at the hips direct from the Sydney-based designer.

Alterations:
- Taken in at the chest (closer to a size 8).
- Boning and cups added for structure.
- Front of the dress taken up, but left the train as is - I’m 162cm + 8cm heel.
- Finger loop added to train for dancing.
