The Dress

Brand New Pronovias Privee Turmalin. Purchased in San Francisco in December 2023.

This dress is an A-line, sweetheart, semi-cathedral train, sheer corset back with gorgeous embroidery, and off the shoulder straps that hang nicely. The glitter sparkles beautifully in the light.

The dress had just arrived to the shop with only 2-3 girls trying on the dress before me. I fell in love with it and purchased on the spot. I was planning to create adjustable straps so that I could use the off the shoulder look for the ceremony and pin them back for a strapless look for the reception. The chest/bust is so beautifully displayed, but out of respect for the modesty of our ceremony this summer I have decided to go with a dress that is more covered.

The tags remain on the dress and has been kept in a cool room in the original bag from the boutique. Please let me know if you have any further questions about the sizing. I am 5’9” without shoes and approximately 150 pounds - I required some clamps for a good fit so this dress will likely require some alterations for downsizing if you are a similar size to me!
