The Dress

Stunning ivory colour Mariana Hardwick 'Nahla' gown wedding dress. Featuring a classic fully beaded, V-neck gown with slimline skirt, sweeping train and slinky stretch lining with cowl back. Comes in the original gown bag from Mariana Hardwick and spare beads and sequins are included.

This beautiful gown sits perfectly and flatteringly on the body, with sheer side panels in the bodice and a centred skirt slit. No need for a bra as the bodice bust has padding. It was quite stretchy, lightweight and comfortable to wear, allowing ease of movement and meant I could eat and drink without feeling any restriction in my torso area. I received so many compliments on the day and felt like a princess. It truly was the dress of my dreams.

I wear a size 8, 161cm/5'3, 10D bust and I wore 7.5cm heels.

Worn once on my wedding dress in November 2023. Only worn for 4-5 hours as I changed into a party dress when the band kicked into gear.

Gown has been professionally dry cleaned by a specialist dry cleaner and came up beautifully. It’s in pristine condition, including the bottom hem.

Alterations

I had the dress fully hemmed and the straps shortened slightly to suit my petite height.
Also the inside of the dress around the slit and bottom hem has some hand stitching as I decided to change shoes mid-way through the process and the dress needed some tweaking, however this is not visible at all on the outside.
