The Dress

Watters ‘Leda’ cream satin gown, which has never been worn! At the last minute we opted for a destination wedding – and sadly the dress didn’t come with us.
The dress feels beautiful on, and is a classic one shoulder design – so different from anything else I’ve seen.
The dress was originally a US 4 but was taken in slightly, and would fit an Australian size 6 -8 (83cm, 68cm, 92cm), around 165cm tall without shoes, and hemmed to 174cm in heels. I also had a button added to loop the train up. There is no boning, and the bias cut of the dress means there is some extra room in the skirt if needed.
The ruched design is extremely forgiving and the padded bra cups mean no bra is required but the amazing lace and crystal beaded back which extends round the front of the dress is the star of the show, and is really highlighted by the flattering cut at the back.
I didn’t want a veil to hide the beautiful back detailing, but there is also a sheer cream tulle overskirt and belt which was made to match the dress. This can be seen in a couple of the photographs and gives the gown a very romantic feel. This is being sold separately - happy to be negotiable on the price.
Everyone says the photos don’t do the dress justice - but in this case its true.
