The Dress

Custom-made Elbeth Gillis dress. I fell in love with two of her dresses, so she created a hybrid of the two.

It is made of Italian crepe with a chiffon overlay (overlay can be removed by a tailor); a slip up the side made it so comfortable to move and dance in, which meant it had just the right amount of movement when I was walking.

The back is very flattering; it dips down and has buttons up the back.

I changed into another dress after dinner, so it is in excellent condition, and I would love for someone else to enjoy this dress as much as I did! It has dry-cleaned really well with no marks around the bottom. There is a tiny, tiny mark on the back (to the right and down from the buttons, see picture).

Back: top of the dress by the buttons to the end of the train: 168cm
Waist by the seam: 67.5cm (measuring the material directly)
Front top to floor: 139cm
Armpit to floor: 134cm
Corset/top length: 27cm
Bust: I'm usually a 12DD bra size (around 92cm). I was able to wear the dress without a bra.

Alterations

Alterations to fit; pulled in around the bust and waist, and a bustle was added. You will be able to do alternations or adjust what I had done.
