The Dress

Anthropologie's BHLDN collection - Wtoo by Watters Philomene Lace Cap-Sleeve Wedding Gown, size 4 with alterations (details below); dress has been cleaned with no stains or damage

I loved this dress - it was lightweight, comfortable to move and sit in, and the perfect balance of sexy and classic. It was worn for the ceremony only.

"Intricate corded lace was designed specifically to suit the silhouette of the Wtoo by Watters Philomene Wedding Gown, resulting in a flawless fit and lighter-than-air construction. Cap sleeves and a plunging lace v-neckline complete the bodice, while the open back is embellished with a row of tiny pearl buttons. The shape slightly transitions into a trumpet silhouette, hugging the body and flaring into a delicate train."

Alterations

Alterations to waist, hips and length.
Additions by tailor:
1) two hook and eyes added in area between zipper and pearl buttons
2) bustle reinforced

Dress was altered (taken in and hemmed) to my measurements which are:
hips: 37.5 in
waist: 27.5 in
height with shoes: 5 ft 9.9 in (5' 6.75" + 3.15" heels) (see photo, front of dress hovers just above shoe tips)
