The Dress

This is a private label, Plus Size Wedding Dress. Label size is 26, which is a street size 20/22, but could be altered down to any size.

I've included pics of me in the dress 1997 at size 22, and pics of me in it today, at size 6 (dress is clipped behind me), so you can see what it might look like on a range of sizes.

The length was cut for me at 5'7" and wearing 3" heels, so should accommodate a height of 5'10 in flats.

The dress is a private label, antique white, fully lined A-line gown. It has a court train and bustle to bring it up for dancing. The antique lace is soft, not itchy, and accented with heavy beadwork, pearls and sequins. The sleeves and hem are scalloped. It has a built in crinoline, so no additional slip is needed to provide volume.

The dress was worn only once, then professionally cleaned and boxed (see pics). It is in excellent condition. There are no tears, rips or snags.

The only defects I could find after 27 years in storage were:
--a few loose threads on the underside of the sleeves (tiny, minor, unnoticeable)
--yellowing on the underside of the train lining....it is not apparent when wearing the dress.

It's a really beautiful gown.
