The Dress

I bought this from The Wedding Shop in Colchester new this year for £3,499. It is a size 12, however it was made slightly smaller during alterations. The length was also slightly shortened, I am 5ft5, but wore heels on my wedding day. I have worn it once and since had it professionally dry cleaned at the recommended place by The Wedding Shop. There are no noticeable marks, it looks as good as new. I live near Colchester in Essex, please contact me if you would like to come and see the dress. Collection in person preferred please.

The plunging empire line bodice frames the décolletage and elongates the torso. The luxurious Italian Cady skirt is layered over a delicate organza and soft net to hold the full silhouette, whilst keeping the design soft and sumptuous.
The frilled net petticoats maintain the drama of the full flare in the hem. Covered buttons and rouleaux loops run the length of the central back bodice. The design is completed by pockets concealed in the side seams that give the look a contemporary edge.

Alterations

It was taken in around my bust (underarms). The length was shortened slightly. A bustle was put in, so I was able to wear it throughout the day.
