The Dress

This gorgeous, A-line lace embroidered Madi Lane dress with an elegant floral illusion neckline made me feel like a goddess on my wedding day and I'm excited for it to be a part of someone else's special day.

The dress is like-new, as I only wore it for my ceremony through first slow dance, changing out of it before the dance floor to preserve it's beauty. It has since been professionally dry-cleaned and steamed. There are no signs of wear on it.

I personally fell in love with the neckline, which features sweetheart cups in the front and a plunging V back along with delicate sheer straps. The effect was a secure and comfortable fit that gave a bit of modesty while still highlighting my figure. The floral embroidery is delicate and organically placed in a way that highlights the waist, adds a beautiful accent to the straps, and flows down the gown into the train.

A hint of shimmer in some of the florals makes the dress feel glamorous while you move without being over-done. There are multiple layers of embroidered tool which gives the dress a beautiful depth and looks amazing while you twirl, but was still one of the lightest and most comfortable dresses I tried on. There is a mid-length train that extends the beautiful floral embroidery and looked incredible on staircase shots as well as down the aisle.

I tried on a few dozen dresses with some similar features, but loved how effortless and romantic this dress felt. There is an attention to detail in this Madi Lane dress that others could not match. The ivory color allowed details of the dress to be seen in outdoor photos (white can wash everything out) but still felt classic.

The dress comes with its original garment bag as well as a garment bag from the dry cleaners and inside another waterproof layer to protect it. I am including two veils (one long veil that I used in our romantic shots and a shorter one that I wore down the aisle) that are each worth $150 and will complete a gorgeous wedding day look!

Alterations

I am 5'4" with an hourglass figure so the dress was professionally hemmed to fit me (in 2-inch heals) in the length and taken in slightly on the back straps to hug my body. A bustle was added to the gown (would usually cost $150-250 to add to a dress with this many layers), which makes it ready to wear for any bride with similar measurements as me!
