The Dress

Before you read the description, know, I bought “bigger” so that it would fit me in the chest, and I could easily alter the other areas of the dress, need be.

I am usually a size 2-4, xs-s. I am 5’4”, somewhat muscular, normal waist, smaller hips and thighs and larger chest. I wear a 32DD or 34D bra, and generally wear XS or S in tops, dresses and pajamas. I wear a size 26 jean. I hope this gives you a better idea of my size. This dress had some alterations, and I’ll give a better idea of measurements of the actual dress, because the size listed is not at all the size it is.

I am in the northwestern part of the United States, and searched thousands of dresses before finally finding my DREAM COME TRUE of a DRESS is Australia. I knew I had to have it, but knowing my size, I intentionally bought big so it would fit in the chest and I could alter the other areas, need be. My philosophy was that it would be easier to take in, than to take out, especially with all the intricate beading throughout….and, I was limited with time. We were married at an incredible winery in the northwest of the US, summer wedding, and I’ve never had so many compliments in my life.
