The Dress

This gown was the perfect amount of elegance with a wow-factor train and fine details. The fit is a sleeveless neckline with a boned corset, fitted from chest to hips and then a gorgeous tulle train about 3 metres long. The embroided flowers have the perfect amount of sequins, beading and crystals to shimmer in the light. The dress has an outer layer of lace all the way to the toes- the only part that isn't detailed with embroidery is the long tulle train at the back. The hem was unstitched and shortened by hand to suit my height. I am 167cm tall and was wearing short heels approx 3cm. This attention to detail with altering ensured that all of the original details of the dress were kept.

The corset has a removable lining for a more sensual look either all day or just for the reception. I have included a photo demonstrating the lining of the corset removed to reveal a sheer panel around the waist. The dress was also altered to include 3 x bustles, making it easy to move around and dance at the reception. The train begins at the base of the tail-bone ensuring that an hourglass figure is maintained even with a large train- unfortunately the only photo that I have shows the dress bustled for the reception but I'd be happy to take photos for a serious buyer.

The dress was dry-cleaned within 3 days of the wedding and professionally boxed- where it has been kept ever since. The storage boxes prevent yellowing of the dress and damage over time. I'm not sure how this would affect the cost of postage but I'd be happy to post it in the box or a garment bag. The box retails at a few hundred dollars so it'd be worth you keeping! I inspected the dress before it was boxed and the condition was great, but as I haven't taken it out of the box since, I have listed it as used-good even though it is more likely to be used-excellent. I will unbox and inspect it thoroughly in consultation with a buyer. For now, it will remain in it's box to ensure its preservation.
