The Dress

I absolutely ADORED my wedding dress! My husband and I are moving into our first house so I'm sadly parting with my dress to help with costs, and I'm hoping it'll make another bride feel beautiful on her big day.
This Madi Lane dress (Jenica) has the perfect mix of organic lace, tulle, and an underskirt of silvery sequins that really catch the light without being overtly glittery. Bought at A&Be in Minneapolis in September 2022, and I wore this dress for five hours for photos, ceremony, and drinks, then changed into a different reception dress. I also had this dress professionally cleaned afterwards, so this dress is barely worn and in excellent condition!

Notes about fit: I am 5'6'' and wore 1'' shoes the day of the wedding; dress is hemmed as such. The skirts are full enough that people couldn't see my shoes under and assumed I was wearing heels--perfect for a bride who wants comfortable footwear! Or someone a couple inches shorter than me, since you wouldn't need to spend money on hemming! I am a 32D and this bodice/cups fit me perfectly. I did have the straps raised, but they were sewn in such a way that they could be let down again for someone with more chest than me. I am a size small - x-small in shirts and a small - medium in pants. I take a small or a 4-6 dress size normally (obviously in wedding terms this dress is a size 8 ).

Alterations

I put $700 worth of alterations (7 point bustle, hemming, shortened straps) into it. The bodice itself was not changed in any way.
