I had originally bought a different dress in Chicago for what was supposed to be my 2022 wedding. However, I broke my back around the beginning of 2022 and had to push the wedding back a year. I also ended up gaining about two dress sizes in weight and have been really uncomfortable in photos. The dress I had originally bought just didn’t fit me well anymore. I then found this dress and absolutely fell in love with it. It wasn’t really what I was looking for but I couldn’t have gotten anything better!

Between this dress and my awesome photographer I was and continue to be so happy with how I looked at our wedding. Every time I look at pictures I remember how much I loved this dress and how confident and beautiful I felt in it.

I am very well endowed in the chest department so it was a little more showy on me than it might be on someone less busty. Though I never felt at risk of any accidental exposure, I felt very secure and very snatched. The material, oh, I could go on and on about how lovely it feels. Those little 3D embellishments on the bodice are so soft but the satin is the real star, it feels so luxurious and is double lined so it is quite weighty and holds its shape exceptionally well. There are multiple underskirts and I had the dress tacked up and not hemmed in case someone very tall would like it. I am 6” in heels and this dress was almost a foot too long. It should be easy, though, to get hemmed as there are no embellishments at the bottom.

I bought this dress from the lovely people at 130 Atelier in Cheshire, England. I really really appreciate all of the time and effort they put in helping me with it. I honestly couldn’t have been happier on my wedding day. I am living in Sweden currently, but the dress is outside Louisville, Kentucky with my mom. Which is where I will be shipping it from, we also are super fine if you want to come try it on or pick it up in person. I did pay $200 to have it dry-cleaned after the wedding as we had an outdoor wedding. So it is in practically new condition.

If you are a little unconfident in your body or very confident about how you look I think this dress is perfect. It accentuates all the right areas and makes you feel like a queen. I am willing to negotiate some on the price especially if, like I was, you are feeling super down about the whole wedding-dress-fitting anxiety.
