The Dress

Showstopper, Pronovias Hepburn wedding dress! Bought for £2000 and has been dry cleaned professionally and has no damage/from a smoke free home.

The dress has a v plunge neck with beading on the edging, cathedral train, secret mesh across the plunge front, built in corset bust support, pockets, long sleeves with beading on cuffs and a corset back.

The dress originally had a zip back with a row of buttons. I’ve kept the buttons going down the seam at the back of the dress. However, I had the back altered to allow for a corset. Please see below.

The dress is so flattering, as I wanted to cinch in my waist and hide my arms. The dress has a timeless, classic Hollywood feel to it. I can send with paperwork, dress cover and hanger.

The dress is a Spanish size 18, which translates to around a 16 in the UK. The corset back allows some give with this, if you sit between a 16 and an 18.

Alterations

I changed the back of the dress from a zip to a corset, by a wedding seamstress. This allowed me to fit into the dress as a size 16 and allow for a more slender day or bloating! I also had the dress altered in length, to allow for my 5ft, 6 height and 6 inch heels.
