The Dress

I felt so stunning, confident, and comfortable in this dress! I wanted a a sleek dress that complimented my bodies natural shape while still being able to walk and not worry about my stomach being emphasized due to bloating. This minimal fit and flare dress was the perfect choice for me; I could move easily and wasn't concerned about what I ate that day because the material held the structure of the dress. The ease and wonderful design of this dress allowed me to be present to our wedding day rather than worrying about pulling my dress up, smoothing out wrinkles, or it snagging on anything. There's an additional adjustable interior strap that secures the dress so it won't slip down at all which I was concerned about due to having a smaller chest but had no problems-- while still being able to breathe! I wore this dress in May 2022 for an outdoor ceremony in the low 70s and was perfectly comfortable the entire time. It's not too heavy and includes minimal boning to create the beautiful structure of this dress whether your sitting, standing, hugging and of course walking down the aisle .

If you're looking for a classic silhouette with material that flatters and highlights your curves rather than making you feel like you need to modify your body to fit the dress-- this is a great choice for you! I sadly only wore this dress for about 3 hours as I changed into a second cultural dress for our ceremony. There's no damage, stains or wear to the dress. After only 3 hours of use it's still practically new. I've had it professionally cleaned and safely kept in it's original bag since then. This is a lovely dress that you can make your own by whatever accessories you choose to wear on your special day.
***This is the first item I've purchased as a size 12 and had to take the bust in considerably so I'd almost identify it as a size 10 now. I usually a size 8. ***

Alterations

I had the dress tailored so it would be slightly off the ground while standing in heels (5'11") and had the bust taken in quite a bit (I normally wear a 36 A/B bra for reference and have a 35" bust)
