About the Dress
Fantastic, tulle wedding gown from the 1950s, made by American designer Nettie Rosenstein.
The top is pearl and sequin encrusted, with a satin bow at the waist, followed by tulle circles that flow down the bottom. Zipper runs down the back of the gown.
This dress is vintage, and might have some loose pearls, but is in overall great condition and worn once for my wedding.
The bust is 36 inches and would be best for C cup or smaller, I'm a street size 4/6 and it fit great. The length is 63 inches in the front, and slightly longer in the back to create a mini train (5 inches longer in back.) I'm 5'3" and I had to wear 4 inch heels. You can alter the dress to be make it shorter if you prefer.
The entire skirt is lined with multiple layers of tulle, but it is not itchy inside. You could add a hoop skirt for additional fullness.
A very light tulle, one shoulder strap was professionally added to the top of the dress due to its weight. It is nude and could be removed if you wanted it entirely strapless.
There is no size tag, only a designer label which leads me to believe this was a custom made gown.
Alterations
A one shoulder, tulle strap was added due to the weight of the gown. It is nude and can be removed if you prefer the dress be entirely strapless.
