The Dress

A stunning balance of romantic and alluring, this strapless wedding dress features a plunging sweetheart neckline and ornate lace appliques. Created with two layers of tulle, the mermaid skirt adds beautiful shape to the gown.

This gorgeous gown was worn once in July 2023 and looks good as new after being professionally dry cleaned. The dress was purchased in a US size 6 and was altered in the bust area and hemmed (please see measurements provided). A traditional bustle has been added to the gown to make reception wear easy. Plain spaghetti straps have also been added to the gown but can be removed by a seamstress if you would prefer the dress to be strapless.

FREE EXTRAS: I am including my veil with the dress, which is also from David’s Bridal and features floral lace appliqués that complement the gown beautifully. The dress and veil will come in a waterproof David’s Bridal garment bag, which features four zipper pockets for jewelry and small accessories, one large zipper pocket for shoes, a veil divider, an ID pouch, and a hanger loop for easy carrying.

Alterations

Size 6 dress originally had a 35in bust and was altered to about a 34inch bust. Spaghetti straps were added, dress was hemmed and a traditional bustle was added.
