The Dress

I wore this dress to a beautiful wedding on the Bosphorus in Istanbul. I fell in love with this dress from the moment I tried it on. The details are just gorgeous and I received and still receive so many compliments on the dress when people see pictures. I think the style is timeless enough that it doesn't have a trendy feel to it. While Pronovias describes it as "bohemian" it felt incredibly classy and the lace is just so beautiful. It flattered my figure even before alterations. I have a small waist and larger breasts so finding a dress that didn't look too sexy was difficult but also wanted to feel supported, this dress did that and more. I felt beautiful and just the right amount of sexy. I chose to wear a strapless bra with it but I think you could get away without one for most people.

Alterations

I had tailor add matching fabric buttons on back to cover the zipper which add a really special one-of-a-kind element. I also had them add a sort of bustle that works as a simple loop and button, very simple and seamless but can be easily removed or made into a more complicated bustle.
