PRONOVIAS: MARIAMA
An iconic ballgown-style dress in delicate lace and tulle. Elegant three-quarter sleeves and a deep V neck and backline supported by push-up cups. The lacework of the bodice extends over the hips to reign in the skirt volume and create an elongated effect.

This is a Pronovias Mariama gown from the Joy 2023 collection, that I bought new from the Pronovias Beverly Hills store this year. It’s size 10 in European sizes, so about a size 6 in US sizes.

I wore it just the one day for my joyous wedding & spot cleaned it so it’s in like new condition. The lace and clear sparkly sequins are even more gorgeous in person, and I love the crystal buttons on the sleeves! I will include the original tag & extra button. Alterations

Alterations: I am 5’4” & had all seven layers hemmed to graze the floor while wearing three inch heels, and the shoulders taken up about an inch. My tailor was the excellent Connie Tao Designs in Pasadena, CA. The shoulders can be undone if needed & the hemmed layers can also be released, but this would be perfect as is for any petite bride 5’7” or shorter! The waist is an exact size 10 & was not taken in. See last picture for the the excellent hemming on the internal layer.
