The Dress

A sweet and subtly detailed satin dress with floral embellishments, this gown will make you feel like a natural princess. This dress offers a classic silhouette from its sweetheart neckline to its belted empire waist, right down to the conical shape of the skirt, which is kept full by a layer of tulle in between layers of satin.

The main under layer is an ivory color with the embellished tulle over layer being slightly more of a cream color with champagne undertones. The satin rosettes at the empire waist bring these champagne tones out and are reflected in the gold thread used to line the floral embellishments.

The floral embroidery detailing of the bodice is sweet and exquisite with its gold outlines and irridescent beadwork. The embroidery is concentrated on the bodice and then culminates again in the hem of the dress, with its divine scalloped edge.

The train is about 2 feet long and can be pulled up in the back and fanned out for dancing. The back closes with a zipper for ease but looks elegant with satin-covered buttons.

This dress was worn one time and immediately dry cleaned. Any flaws are practically microscopic.

Alterations

The dress was altered to fit the measurements given. I wore flats with the dress and am 4'4," but it would be the perfect length for someone who was 4'5" in shoes. Also included are removable pads to bulk up the bra area.
