The Dress

I instantly fell in love with my wedding dress when I first saw it. It's a classic, romantic, fairytale dress.

The bodice is cut snug to the body, with a built-in bra, and due to the corset in the back, you can tighten the waist as much as you like- it's a fab waist cincher! (but stops short enough on the waist that you can still sit with ease and comfort.)

The corset in the back means that the sizing is now very flexible. It would fit any figure from a size 10 to a size 14 (or even a size 16 if you have a smaller bust.) I wear a C-cup in bra sizes. If you live nearby, you are very welcome to come by and view the dress and try it on if you like. The photos don't do it justice.

The skirt of the dress is layered with tulle and lace applique. I have selected the option 'minor flaws or wear' due to the small grass stains that are on the very inner layer of the dress. The dress has been dry cleaned but the grass stains left a light mark. I have included a photo of the darkest one (see final photo). You would never see this as they're on the very inner layer of an extremely layered dress. I was very lucky to get married on a warm dry day so I managed to avoid mud stains and the like. The skirt has a small train which adds a bit of drama when you're walking down the aisle and looks gorgeous in photos.

The dress will need steaming prior to your wedding (as any dress needs to be to get it looking its best for your big day.)

I am also including the hoop that I bought to sit underneath the dress. This isn't for volume- it's to keep the dress away from your legs so you have plenty of room for movement and a bit of fresh air! (see attached photo.) I also had a bustle sewn into the dress so you can hook the train up. The alterations cost around £300 on top of the dress price.

The dress is not only gorgeous, it was so comfortable and I didn't feel any restrictions on the dance floor.

Alterations

I had a corset put into the back of the dress to make it more flexible and comfortable. The dress has been taken up in length (as all new wedding dresses have to be.) I am 5ft 6 and I was wearing 2-inch heels on the day. I also had a bustle sewn into the dress.
