The Dress
Purchased from Wendy Makin Studio in Brisbane.
Made from a hand painted raw silk exclusive to Wendy Makin. The bodice is a cross over ruched V-neck design, cinched at the waist complete with a full gathered skirt complete with pockets.
It has been dry cleaned by Leon's fine dry cleaning. The train is in perfect condition and doesn't have any stains or marks.
Due to delicate nature of raw silk, there are minor tears on the chest due to carrying a baby as shown in photo otherwise in a good conditions. Requires delicate dressmaker to repair the tear or to replace the bodice with a lovely ivory silk to complement the skirt.
Worn the dress three times - pre-wedding photoshoot and two weddings due to covid restrictions.
Ready to go to next bride who will enjoy the dress as much as I did.
Can be picked up or posted.
