The Dress

A modern bohemian beauty with floral-inspired details, this soft A-line wedding dress is oh-so-dreamy! This dress was the absolute dress of my dreams, as a plus size woman I was apprehensive about trying on bridal dresses - this dress was the second one I tried on and I instantly fell in love with it. It was floaty and sparkly without being too much. The shape of the dress accentuated the parts of my body which I like (the plunging neckline is supportive while subtly sexy, with flesh coloured illusion panels which ensure you do not pop out) and flowed over my pear shaped tum and bum.

I felt invincible in this dress.

I am a pear shape and so the recommended size was a UK size 24 dress (AU26) and then i was going to have alterations to fit my shape like it was moulded for me and i was also going to have it shortened as i am 5'4.

The dress is brand new, never worn and only collected from the bridal shop in June. It has had no alterations at all, but can be altered 3 dress sizes smaller and 1 dress size bigger. It is still in its original packaging and also comes with a wedding dress bag from the bridal shop.

I have tried to include pictures that show the beauty of the dress, all pictures were taken on Saturday but some with the flash to try and show the sparkle, appliques, detailing, layers etc.

I did also try on for pictures as the dress can be shown in its full beauty and on someone my height and shape for comparison. I am still as in love with it as the day I said yes.
