The Dress

If you are looking for a dress that is bohemian, but also romantic, then this dress is perfect for you. The dress has beautiful details on the sleeves and on the waist, has a chapel style train, and is soft and drapes gracefully. Because I love pink, I replaced the white layer with a baby pink one. The fabric used is sequins, lace, net, and tulle.

This dress was worn once on my wedding day (July 22nd, 2023), and it is still in great condition. It was cleaned professionally shortly after the wedding. I love this dress, and found the a-line cut very flattering for my figure (pear shaped). It is a comfortable and light weight dress. We got married on a mild winter's day in South Africa (20 degrees), and this dress was perfect for the occasion.

As much as I love the dress, I would much rather have another bride wear it than have it collect dust in my cupboard :)

Alterations

A pale pink layer was added underneath the tulle (see photos). The sleeves were made tighter to better fit around my arms (bicep- 32cm, forearm- 22cm). Hem of the dress was shortened (I'm 166cm, but 172cm with my shoes).
