The Dress

When I put on this dress I had that feeling of "this is the one!". It made me feel like a Princess and I have no regrets. I originally wanted a more fitting, sexy style dress but I figured that your wedding day is the only day you can really put on an extravagant outfit! I tried the A-line ballgown style on for a laugh but it ended up really suiting me! Despite all the layers of tulle, the dress was very comfortable and easy to move in. I danced in it all night with the wrist strap.

The dress has a sweetheart lace bodice with a mid-low back. The detail of the lace is intricate and feminine. There are multiple layers of tulle with a layered train. It really hugs into the waist and cascades down. the dress moves softly when you spin and is very pretty!

I usually fit a size 8, sometimes a size 6 depending on my current weight. I had the bodice slightly taken in, bra padding added and the length taken up to fit my height. I got the seamstress to add a wrist strap.

Alterations

The length of the dress was taken up to suit my height of about 164cm with shoes. It also had the bodice taken in slightly and extra cupping into the bodice to help fill it. It also had a wrist strap to make dancing a breeze. I did have a bustle added however the weight of the train did not allow it to stay with all my dancing!
