The Dress
This Viorica dress from Maria Farbinni is absolutely amazing. It hits you in all the right places, emphasizing natural curves (even if you don’t have huge curves). Originally purchased at LBR Bridal in Chicago for $3900 with tax, paid $600 for alterations, then $550 for cleaning afterwards. This dress is in perfect condition. It was ordered as an 8 (European size) but I am usually between a 2-4 in David’s bridal. This dress can be taken out or taken in as needed. My seamstress was very gentle with the dress so alterations could be easily made.
I added straps to this gown so I wouldn’t have to worry about pulling up my dress while dancing. Totally worth it, the straps can easily be removed if needed.
Alterations
The dress has a long train, but I had her alter the dress to my height of 5’4” plus whatever my heels were (3-4in).
